Same flight, far apartNEW

When spotters hundreds of miles apart mark the same flight, SkyAbove links them and shows it on a map.

• A notice in the app and on the website when it happens
• A shareable page with the route, the plane live and every spotter's area
• 200 miles by default, or set your own minimum
• Areas are approximate: exact locations are never shared

Meet the spotters on your flightNEW

Tap I'm on this flight when you board. Everyone on SkyAbove who marked the same flight that day joins one flight chat, and you can ask anyone there for a private chat.

• Messages, photos, voice notes and emoji reactions
• End-to-end encrypted: only the people in the chat can read, see or hear it. Not even SkyAbove can
• Gone in a day: every chat, photo and voice note is deleted 24 hours after the flight lands
• Private chats open only when the other person accepts
• Nickname only: your email and location are never shown
• Report and block built in; reports are reviewed by the SkyAbove team

How we protect chat is explained in the SkyAbove privacy policy.
